This series of work has drew inspiration from plants and flowers whose states’ progressively changed from vibrant, fragrant, living specimens to withered, decayed and quite vulnerable. The final stages in the life cycle of the flowers, pods, fruits or other forms of plant life were captured using a scanner. Use of the scanner created images with a shallow focus and soft, gentle glow.
